Cloud and Fire

In his message entitled Cloud & Fire, Pastor Levi Marychurch speaks on the pillars of cloud and fire from God that led the Israelites through the desert and away from harm in Exodus 13.

Levi reminds us that God loves us so much, he not only came down in these pillars, but he sent his son Jesus to dwell among us. Just like the pillars, Jesus is the physical manifestation of God’s power - except we can walk with him, talk with him and live with his presence within us. Levi encourages us to be led by Jesus and allow him to protect us while we walk through our deserts.

Good Works Offering 2021

Join us for a powerful message from Pastors Levi & Nadia Marychurch as they unveil the Good Works offering for 2021. Pastor Levi opens with the cornerstone of Good Works, the story of the Good Samaritan from Luke 10.

Levi opens, “As a church, we truly want to go and do likewise. We want to be in the world, in our cities, in the rural areas of Ontario – and all over the world. We want to be people like this Good Samaritan that will simply go and do likewise.”

Nadia continues, “What we are to do as a church, we are the called out ones – the ones that will make a difference. We are to make a difference in our local community and in our world. We’re to be the hands and feet of Jesus.”

The message of Jesus is simple – go and do likewise.

Reach the lost.

Help those in need.

Serve the church.

What's Next

In this message, Pastor Levi Marychurch draws our attention to what came after the resurrection of Christ and before the Acts of the Apostles began. We see that Jesus fulfills God’s sacrificial laws and ushers in a New Covenant. We also see that the followers of Jesus receive the Holy Spirit and the Great Commission; this empowers them and sets them apart to live a life beyond themselves – all of which applies to us as believers today.

A Complete Easter Story

On this Easter Sunday we are joined by Pastor Kent Bandy, director of Ellel Ministries Canada (Ontario).

We often forget how much sin and evil Jesus was conquered on the cross. Kent walks us through the events leading up to Jesus’s birth, death, and resurrection. Kent reminds us of the tremendous cost Jesus paid and how critical his sacrifice is to our eternity.

Stay in the Fight

This week, Hillsong’s Young & Free Global Pastor, Peter Toganivalu, wraps up the March Madness series with an uplifting message encouraging us to be prepared, have resolve, and fight the good fight of faith in both good times and bad (2 Timothy 4:1-8). He shares three helpful suggestions for building our faith when we may feel like turning away, and reminds us that we don’t know what the future holds, but we know who holds the future. Our God is a good God, and he is in control!

Yad with Kabod

Pastor Nathan Finochio joins us from Palm Springs, California for this second installment of March Madness.  He unpacks the Hebrew words and concepts of “yad” and “kabod” in a rich and meaningful way. He tackles some big ideas including what it looks like to be in relationship with God (who is a person, with preferences) and what sacrifice really means as he helps us dig a little deeper into why we worship God the way we do.

Burnt Stones and Dry Bones

We kick off our March Madness message series with an amazing message by Free Chapel’s Pastor Ben Prescott entitled Burnt Stones and Dry Bones.

In this sermon, we are reminded of the story of the valley of dry bones from Ezekiel 37 and the burnt stones from Nehemiah 4. Ben talks about how we often try to discard or conceal the burnt stones and dry bones in our own lives. He reminds us that instead of getting rid of them, we should offer them up to be restored by the Father and used for his good.

Jonah: More Than a Fish Story

In her message Jonah: More Than a Fish Story, Pastor Nadia Marychurch takes us through the hard truths, tragedies, and lessons from the book of Jonah. Nadia invites us to look at the book of Jonah in a satirical, relatable and convicting way as she explores this tale of a prophet who ran from God - instead of to him - because he thought he had a better plan.

The Sound of Rain

This week, Pastor Levi Marchurch’s message entitled “The Sound of Rain” centers around the promise of rain for Elijah and his people in 1 Kings 18:41-46. The story reminds us that even after many years of drought, Elijah never ceased to believe in the promise for rain.

We have all been caught in a heavy rainstorm at least once in our lives and not been prepared for it. However, what if you knew about a rainstorm way before it was going to happen? If so, you would have had plenty of time to prepare your umbrella and raincoat. Levi speaks about living in preparation to receive the downpour of God’s presence, that we come in anticipation and appreciation of his grace.

The Greatest Love Story Ever Told

This Valentine’s Day, Pastor Jadyn Duff shares a story of God’s love and our purpose. The story begins with a loving God paying the ultimate price for our redemption (John 3:16). Jadyn also highlights God’s expectations that we’re to continually move forward despite our past mistakes and become ambassadors for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:18-21). Jadyn offers three important mindsets to carry forward as we reflect on the great care and attention God took when he designed us to serve the needs of others.
