Prince of Peace

Drawing from various biblical references and humorous personal stories, he explains how kindness makes a difference, it multiplies and glories God. We are encouraged to show kindness more often, living as a representative of God and sharing His love through our actions. 

Live as Warriors, or Die as Wanderers - Part Two

This week Nadia Marychurch continues her message, "Live as Warriors, or Die as Wanderers," focusing on the next generation of Israelites that made it into the Promised Land. Nadia explores the difference between the generation of wanderers and the generation of warriors with the help of guest speaker, Levi Marychurch. We discover that the next generation saw the possibilities and were ready to fight for it, they made no excuses and they held God is such a place of honour that it impacted the way they lived. Levi and Nadia encourage us to follow that example of this generation who knew the importance of God and held to their faith above all else.

 

 

Live as Warriors, or Die as Wanderers - Part One

Where has wandering distracted you from walking into what God has in store for you? In this message, Pastor Nadia Marychurch challenges the way our culture reveres wandering by pinpointing the characteristics that the Israelites had which made them content to wander in the desert rather than eager to walk into their Promised Land. When You Change the Recipe, You Change the Result

"When you change the recipe, you change the result”. Pastor Levi Marychurch shares “the recipe for revival” found in 2 Chronicles 7:14. He teaches that revival - to hear from heaven, be forgiven and have our land healed – can be achieved by humbling ourselves before God, seeking His face, and repenting. In this message, Levi guides us through each of these “ingredients”. He encourages us that the revival for which we long is within reach, and gives us the necessary tools to change our recipe

This week Luis Gonzalez gives an eye-opening sermon on the topic of sin and its link to purpose. By sharing personal anecdotes, Luis gives a realistic perspective on how mistakes can easily spiral out of control affecting our relationship with God, the people around us and even with our innermost-selves. Luis ties it all back by affirming that even in the midst of sin and human error, God can transform our smallest and biggest mistakes alike and use them as a platform for our own lives.

It's Not What You Know

This week Levi Marychurch shares a message from Daniel 3:1-20 entitled, "It's not what you know, it's who you know." From this passage, Levi shares 3 lessons we can learn from the Hebrew boys. If you kneel before God; you can stand before anyone, your "yes" to God is only as good as your "no" to the world and influence will always outlast fame. Levi reminds us to refocus our eyes on God amongst the distractions that the world offers. 

Lessons From Friends

Guest speaker Jadyn Duff in his message titled “Lessons From Friends” shares on the story of the man carried by his friends to Jesus from Luke 5:17-26. From drawing on examples of the crowd, the faith of the friends, and the miracle of Jesus, Jadyn encourages us to be active in our Christianity as we learn to walk in bold belief in a big God.

A Life Set Apart for God

We all want our lives to count for something. In this message, entitled "A Life Set Apart for God", Pastor Nadia Marychurch acknowledges humanity's desire for purpose. Using the reign of King Josiah in 2 Chronicles 34:1-8 as an example, along with five practical steps, Nadia encourages us to live a life set apart for God.

God Awareness

This week, Pastor Levi Marychurch brings a thought-provoking message on "God Awareness". Referencing scripture from Judges 16:1-22 and Luke 3:22, he encourages us to consider how our lives and choices may look different if we are more aware of God's presence and highlights examples from scripture where people were unaware that the presence of God was no longer with them. Levi leaves us with some concrete strategies to become and stay more God-aware by valuing, protecting, and sharing our relationship with God.
